From an early age i was interested in IT. I was often gaming, but also doing things like replacing hardware in my pentium 2 so I could get internet through a dial up modem.
My first ICT-oriented training was MBO Service Desk Engineer in 2004. After this I did the System and network Management training.
In 2008 I left school and started working. From 2008 to now I have been able to fulfill a huge variety of IT assignments. From Service Desk employee to Application Manager. The clients were also very diverse. From working for the government to trading companies in the SME sector.
Within this time I have done and achieved many certificates and training. ASL, BISL, SCRUM, Cisco and various Microsoft Certifications, such as DP-300 Database management in the cloud have i done.
At the moment I work as an application manager at Deltafiber Netherlands. My work mainly consists of Database management and a bit of cloud adoption and consultancy.
Because of my broad and extensive experience, I have a lot of wide-oriented knowledge. I know enough about networking such as the OSI-Model, Quite a lot about Windos Operating systems such as Clients and Servers, A lot of knowledge and experience in the field of Microsoft SQL, Scripting in powershell and code in SQL I am also proficient with.
I am very much at home in the field of database management. I can build completely new High Available clusters On-Prem or provide Secure PAAS variants in the Microsoft Cloud. Providing a solid maintenance schema for your Databases and do regularly preformace checks.
I also have a lot of experience with migrating IT environments to another environment. This also includes guiding the end users and their teamleaders so that there is as little resistance as possible from these people.
